Post-holiday pocket crisis

That’s exactly what we should call it. A post holiday pocket crisis.

Too many people get stuck with this problem after the holiday season. I know I am. I may not be as desperate or my problems as worse, as other people, but I do know that the holidays took a toll on my savings. If you are stuck with the same mind-boggling conundrum, join me as we explore what alternatives we have at the moment.

I’d like to point out from the get-go that payday loans should be our final resort for this problem. There could be other solutions. Let’s run down a list of things that might be viable.

Family loan

It’s always an option to ask a family member or a close relative for a loan. Instead of running to your payday loan lender instantly, there might be a great solution lying await inside your relative’s wallet. However, you should also consider the possibility that your relatives have the same problem you have, too. They could be just as struck by the post-holiday pocket plague as you are. They could be in worse situations. Try to weigh the matters in all perspectives before attempting to borrow money from a relative after the holidays.

Check all your savings accounts. It might not be empty. Another option is to squeeze whatever you can from your savings. You can also try to issue post-dated checks for your other debts, as long as those debts do not require immediate repayment. A promissory note to the rest of them might work, as well.

Relying on debt dealers to solve your financial crisis is never a good idea, but I don’t discount the fact that it is a viable option. If nothing else, going to your friendliest payday loan lender is the best option. And by saying friendliest, I really meant it. It’s better to go to a payday lender that you trust, someone who knows that you won’t go back on your word. A payday lender that can and will understand your situation when push comes to shove is the most ideal payday loan lender, if you ask me.

There are also other options that might be available if you have time. However, considering the nature of the problem, it can quickly become a necessity to have money inside your pocket. If this is your case, I suggest going over the three options give above and choosing which one to rely on. Decide wisely.
